Adam Morgan
Hello Ytfc23, why did you remove Adam Morgan from the Yeovil squad template? Just wondering... JMHamo (talk) 12:37, 3 January 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry, I must have been half a sleep while editing that, I had been meaning to remove Ishmael Miller, now corrected. Thanks for letting me know. Ytfc23 (talk) 14:59, 3 January 2014 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Liam Broady, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Herzlia (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi. I just wanted to let you know that I saw you updated Template:2013–14 Football League Championship table and that you forgot to update the helper template Template:2013–14 Football League Championship table/p (it clearly states above table it must be updated). This to make sure that the correct rows are shown on the club season articles. Please remember to update helper next time. Thank you. QED237 (talk) 12:38, 3 March 2014 (UTC)

Request for check and source mention
Hello Ytfc23,
I got to know that you created the page, List of Nepal Twenty20 International cricketers and you mentioned there that it is initially arranged in the order in which each player won his first Twenty20 cap. Where more than one player won his first Twenty20 cap in the same match, those players are listed alphabetically by surname. However all the players' name are not listed alphabetically by surname. Please check it out and make edits as required. And please mention the source which give the cap number.
Thank you! Cricshady (talk) 02:13, 26 August 2014 (UTC)
- The players are already listed alphabetically by surname as per [2], Ytfc23 (talk) 11:38, 26 August 2014 (UTC)
Please have a look
Hello Ytfc23, I have noticed that you have nominated several cricketer's pages, who have not played First-class, List A and Twenty20 for deletion. I proposed this page for deletion but the author who created the page removed the notice saying that "has appeared in at least one World Cricket League match of Division Six status or above as a player or umpire". So does that mean it's okay to have pages of cricketers who played in World Cricket League matches, even if they haven't played a single First-class, List A or Twenty20 match? Please check it out and if it should be delete then please nominate it for deletion and if it doesn't meet the requirements to delete, please let me know. Thanks, — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ashesh (talk • contribs) 10:40, 4 November 2014 (UTC)
- Hi, yes I have previously nominated a couple of Nepalese cricketers for deletion on the basis that they had not played first-class cricket, but looking at the WP:CRIN notability requirements again. As Aarif Sheikh has played in Division Three of the World Cricket League he passes this notability guideline. I hope that has helped answer your question if you have further questions please don't hesitate to ask me or on the Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Cricket talk page. Help please
Hello Ytfc23, The pages Twenty20 cricket and Twenty20 International cricket have been moved to Twenty20 and Twenty20 International. So I'm assuming that just "Twenty20" and "Twenty20 International" are the standard terms used. I created a page named List of Twenty20 International matches played by Nepal and another author also created a page for the same purpose later on with the word 'cricket' added to it (List of Twenty20 International cricket matches played by Nepal). Earlier, I moved a page named List of Twenty20 cricket matches played by Nepal to List of Twenty20 matches played by Nepal. But the author who created the page moved back the page saying "Non cricket watching viewers wouldn't understand what the page is about by just looking at the previous title." I thought that didn't make sense as non-cricket viewers wouldn't be interested in looking at the list of matches a cricket team has played. And at the moment both pages exist. I don't think it's a good idea to have two similar pages for the same purpose. I'm wondering which is generally accepted that's why I'm asking for your help. Please have a look at them, and delete one of those pages or do what you think would be suitable. Cricshady (talk) 02:30, 19 November 2014 (UTC)
- Sorry for taking a while to get back to you the consensus would be that "List of Twenty20 matches" is correct rather than "List of Twenty20 cricket matches", as I am not an administrator I do not have the power to delete a page. If you wish to delete one of the pages look at WP:AFD or possibly it would be better to create a discussion at WP:MERGE. I hope that is helpful. Ytfc23 (talk) 18:39, 24 November 2014 (UTC)
- Thank you for your reply. Somebody has proposed to move the pages to the one with the word cricket by adding a template. Will you please consider giving your opinion in the discussion here and here? I've created a discussion in the talk page. Is it enough or something else needs to be done? If something more is need to be done please do it as well. Thank you once again. Cricshady (talk) 01:02, 25 November 2014 (UTC)
- Hello, I see that you have not provided your opinion regarding the matter. Please consider giving your opinion in the discussion here and here so that the consensus can be reached. Thank you, Cricshady (talk) 08:37, 20 December 2014 (UTC)
Nathan Smith
"The events of one match, which the player himself neither scored or was sent off or even played a major part, are not worthy of being detailed upon."
With the greatest respect, who are you to decide that? The reason you do not like my amendment is that it highlights the dishonesty of one of Yeovil's players. Given that his actions led directly to your team securing three points which were ill-deserved and cost Notts County the chance to put distance between themselves and 7th place ahead of a more diffcult run of fixtures, the article change is entirely justifiable. It also provides a record of past behaviour for others to consider if and when Mr Smith cheats again.
As I said to Mattythewhite, it is not the role of Wikipedia authors to censor others. There is a genuine public interest in highlighting dishonest behaviour in our national sport. It needs to be eradicated and this story helps the cause towards eliminating cheating completely. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 188.39.89.26 (talk)

January 2015
Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Yeovil Town F.C. does not have an edit summary. You've been on WP since 2009, so you should know the guidelines. Incidentally, do you know why they're called the glovers? Do you have a source?
Edit summary content is visible in:
- User contributions
- Recent changes
- Watchlists
- Revision differences
- IRC channels
- Related changes
- New pages list and
- Article editing history
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Trafford09 (talk) 22:13, 4 January 2015 (UTC)
- The reason I removed it from the article is because it does not make sense to have a random sentence in the "History" section of the article saying "The club is known by its nickname The Glovers." which adds nothing to the article as the nickname is already stated in the infobox. In addition if you look at featured football club articles such as Arsenal F.C. and York City F.C. neither explain the meaning behind a club nickname so it appears the consensus not to discuss this. Ytfc23 (talk) 22:45, 4 January 2015 (UTC)
The section also had a "please expand" marker. This was intended to encourage somebody who knew the reason for the nickname - (you?) - to add the reason / date / whatever. I looked at the article & found this info. missing. Maybe I should have put that in my edit summary. I've corrected that in this edit. I wouldn't mind if, instead of a subsection, somebody would find & insert such info. on first mention of the nickname. I'd argue that'd put the Glovers one up on the gunners & minstermen. Trafford09 (talk) 23:03, 4 January 2015 (UTC)
- Ok that makes sense. I have inserted information about the club's nickname in the lead of the article. Ytfc23 (talk) 23:34, 4 January 2015 (UTC)
Ah - proper job! Great teamwork (& nice ES!). Trafford09 (talk) 23:55, 4 January 2015 (UTC)

DYK for List of international cricket centuries by Ian Bell
On 10 February 2015, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article List of international cricket centuries by Ian Bell, which you recently created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Ian Bell has scored 21 centuries in Test cricket for England? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/List of international cricket centuries by Ian Bell. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, live views, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |

Cadel Evans
Why do you keep deleting Cadel Evans from the 2015 BMC Racing Team season page? He rode for them until retiring in Feb this year. http://www.procyclingstats.com/team/Bmc_Racing_Team_2015
I have already restored him to the team twice after your deletions. Please cease doing this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 114.76.39.184 (talk) 16:09, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
Bell's centuries
Hi Ytfc23, I just noticed that you whipped up a good list at List of international cricket centuries by Ian Bell and I was wondering if you'd be up for taking it to FLC? It's not far off at all, and I'd be happy to work it up if you'd like to co-nominate it? Of course, you could nominate it entirely on your own should you want to, just at a loose end thinking I could help if you wanted. Cheers. (FWIW, I have a sneaking feeling that we won't be needing to update the list much after this Test finishes....!) The Rambling Man (talk) 08:42, 21 August 2015 (UTC)
- Cheers, yes if you think you can get it up to FL standard then I would be more than up for taking it to FLC with you. Ytfc23 (talk) 10:38, 22 August 2015 (UTC)
- Well I made a few updates to it this morning, and think it's good to go. Would you like to nominate it and add me as co-nom? The Rambling Man (talk) 11:38, 22 August 2015 (UTC)
List of Yeovil Town F.C. seasons
Hi, I'm currently working on the WikiProject Somerset cleanup list and came across List of Yeovil Town F.C. seasons because no sources are cited. As you know the material on the club a lot better than I do, could you possibly add some references to the rows to support the claims re number of points and how far they got in other competitions?— Rod talk 19:29, 20 October 2015 (UTC)
